IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
PHONE BOOKING via 079 39 24 54 77: To improve service to regular clients, calls from "PRIVATE NUMBER" or "BLOCKED" or "NUMBER WITHHELD" phones may NOT be answered - especially during busy periods.
This is due to "prank" calls and problems in locating passengers for whom I do not have a mobile contact number. Additionally, at peak periods the number of incoming calls is sometimes overwhelming, so I wish to give priority to my LOYAL CLIENTS.
IF YOUR UK TELEPHONE is set to withhold your number, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING WHEN CALLING ALPHA TAXI:
DIAL 1470 then 079 39 24 54 77 - your number will show on my caller display & your call will be answered. (if I am available) REGULAR CLIENTS are requested to ensure that they advise me immediately of any change in their contact number, to ensure that I can give incoming calls priority treatment. (Text message or email)
I will continue the practice of ringing (missed call) a client immediately prior to pick-up to avoid uneccessary waiting in cold or wet conditions, delays waiting for passengers, and to help maintain an efficient service. (PLEASE NOTE: out of respect for residents, I will NOT use my horn after 6pm to alert passengers of my arrival).
TEXT BOOKING via 079 39 24 54 78: Whilst phone bookings (079 39 24 54 77) are preferred, I recognise that noise sometimes prevents this. Therefore TEXT booking enquiries will be taken on 079 39 24 54 78 - PLEASE ensure FULL details of ALL your requirements are given (Your NAME, time AND place of desired pick-up, ALL drop-off addresses or stop-offs en-route, number of passengers). A booking will ONLY have been accepted when/if you receive a TEXT REPLY confirming it.
