Alpha Taxi is pleased to accept payment by all major cards (see above) for journeys undertaken.  There will continue to be NO surcharge on transactions for fares of £20.00 or more, however, due to increased costs associated with processing transactions a surcharge of 50p will apply to all transactions under £20.00 from 1st January 2005.  NOTE: From 14th February 2006 most cards can ONLY be accepted using chip & pin.
